About FTC (Fight Time Championship)
FTC is a K-1 kickboxing promotion founded in August 2022 by Younes Chahti and based in Montréal, Québec. Our ambition: to build the biggest kickboxing league in Canada.

Our story
August 2022 — The beginning
Younes Chahti creates FTC with an ambitious vision. At 22 and still a law student, he decides to bet everything on his passion. The adventure starts in the gym where he trains, turned into the stage for the first events.
2022-2024 — The first events
Success comes right away: sold-out events and growing popularity, both on social media and in the arena. Every night draws a bigger, more passionate crowd.
May 2025 — The expansion
Riding that success, Younes thinks bigger: an event gathering close to 1,000 spectators. The result is one of the most memorable nights in FTC history, after which the level rises for good.
October 3, 2025 — FTC 10 at Théâtre Saint-Denis
FTC takes over the Théâtre Saint-Denis in the heart of Montréal: an iconic venue, a ring under the lights and one of the league’s finest nights.
Today — Success
14 events, over 10,000 spectators in the arena, fight nights in Montréal, Laval, Cornwall and Québec City, and the attention of Québec’s biggest media. See FTC in the media.

The founder
Younes Chahti — Founder and promoter
Younes Chahti founded FTC at 22, while still studying law, with one fixed idea: give K-1 kickboxing the stage it deserves in Canada. The promoter behind every fight night, he builds the league event after event, alongside the fighters, coaches and gyms of the Québec scene.

K-1 kickboxing: how it works
K-1 is a standing combat format: punches, kicks, knees and limited clinching. Fights are 3 rounds of 2 to 3 minutes depending on the level, and 5 rounds for title fights. With no ground fighting, it is fast-paced and easy to follow, even at your first fight night.
Federation: the WKFQ
The Fédération Mondiale de Kickboxing Québec (WKFQ) has been an FTC partner since the very beginning and sanctions our events. This collaboration frames our fight nights: rules, fighter safety and the official structure of K-1 in Quebec.
